A true representation of Arandas' finest tequila, Destileria El Ranchito's agave are grown in iron-rich Arandense soil to create an average sugar index of 26° Bx. The ripe agave is then roasted in traditional stone ovens and naturally fermented using yeast extracted from the same agave. With Beethoven concertos playing throughout the fermentation house, warm, dominant aromas of sweet banana bread emerge from the mash. The agave is then twice-distilled in classic copper alambique stills and aged in American white oak bourbon barrels.
The Destilería El Ranchito house style is creamy, rich and aromatic. Ripe agave with faint pepper tones is balanced by floral citrus fruit and a mellow, lingering finish.
